Job Description:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for implementation and
management of key systems utilized by the club. Using industry
practices, they will manage day-to-day operation of all hardware
and software systems all the while, providing technical support to
the user community. The candidate will assist in all technology
research and continuously educate themselves on the latest
advancements to support system growth and capabilities.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning
- Assist in the development and enforcement of IMCF system
policies/procedures using industry standards.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity standard
operating procedures and the development of the documentation
containing the key infrastructure components and network/data
flows. Administration
- Responsible for the management and implementation of existing
and new hardware systems, including virtual servers, NAS/SAN and
other distributed or cloud storage solutions.
- Proactively cultivate, manage, and maintain cross-departmental
collaboration to effectively administer all on-prem and cloud-based
software solutions utilized by the club.
- Maintain AD/Azure AD and O365 environment to effectively manage
Windows and Mac OSX devices, user accounts, permissions, and other
key attributes.
- Ensures system backups are in place, adhere to the set
standards and are routinely tested to ensure their validity.
- Actively monitor cybersecurity systems to ensure that they're
up to date and all vulnerabilities are mitigated/resolved based on
the risk level to the user or organization.
- Maintain up to date inventory and asset tagging of all
equipment and resources. Support
- Oversees the health and function of the server and storage
infrastructure at all locations.
- Proactive development and scheduling of routine maintenance
windows to apply updates, security patches, and other critical
system maintenance needed to keep the systems running
optimally.
- Provide high level of support to the user community and
coordinate with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to resolve
technical issues for escalated help desk requests. The candidate
will continue to participate until the issue is resolved or
mitigation is in place.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis
on creating comprehensive documentation that abides to industry bet
practices. Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or 2+ years
proven experience in a system administrator role.
- Must be a self-starter with analytical and critical thinking
skills who is able to work on multiple active projects, be a quick
learner, and work in stressful environments independently and
within the group.
- Proven experience with server and storage system deployments,
migrations, and upgrades in highly dynamic and time-critical work
environments.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, configuring, and managing
Microsoft OS technologies, primarily focused on Windows 10/11.
Servers, Server2019, Active Directory, Group Policies, and
DFS.
- Solid understanding of the principles of LAN Routing and
Switching design, configuration, troubleshooting (VLANs, IP
Subnetting, port channel, trunks) and client/server
applications.
- Required experience and proficiency in administrating O365
environments, including but not limited to Azure AD, InTune and
knowledge of Exchange server management dealing with auditing,
litigation holds and other similar tasks.
- Preferred experience integrating Okta or other IAM/SAML
solutions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include
holidays, nights, and weekends
- Previous experience supporting a stadium or venue preferred but
not required.
- Knowledge of Jamf MDM solution to manage Apple OSX/iOS devices
is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications is a plus.
- Passion for f--tbol is a plus.
