Job Summary and Qualifications As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. What qualifications you will need: - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Certificate, or Associate Degree HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital.
