E-Finity Distributed Generation, leading distributor and authorized service provider for Capstone Green Energy, is searching for a Field Service Technician to join their team in the Miami, FL area.

This role is responsible for clients in Florida as well as locations in the Caribbean.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance/Troubleshooting Experience and ability to use a Multimeter.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen before you start.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
• Desire to travel 75% of the time including international travel.

    • Troubleshoot, repair, and service Capstone Generators, equipment, and accessories.
    • Interpret Operations manuals, work packages, field procedures, line-ups, drawings and specifications, field action requests, and other technical work instructions relative to support Capstone's turbine equipment and accessories.
    • Perform on-site commissioning of Turbines
    • Complete all documentation associated with the service and commissioning of Capstone Turbine equipment and accessories in a timely manner.
    • Meet schedule and budget as provided by management.
    • Present yourself professionally on every site visit.
    • Ensure the proper and safe use of equipment, procedures, and field processes.
    • Review and recommend changes to field repair procedures, if appropriate
    • Assume responsibility and accountability for tool inventory.
    • Properly maintain service vehicles and turn the associated paperwork over to management.
    • Communicate daily activities and site status updates to management.
